On ground research on water infrastructure in Peri-Urban areas of Nanjing city, China
Learn More‘Bridging the gap between existing urban water management and planning, and the new technologies to build effective and powerful tools for improving water sustainability.’
AIM:
Our company aims at empowering urban governance and communities with access to systems, tools, data and information at various levels of water management that increases value chain efficiency and inclusion
in the developed urban water management, contributing towards better water security.
“We are committed to address the inefficient and fragmented value chain in the water services by utilizing artificial intelligence and machine learning technology to provide necessary data, tools and information to
improve basic infrastructure, promote value chain inclusion and help to build a resilience for communities by Smart Integrated water cycle management addressing to the following aspects:
Real-time sensing and monitoring Multi functional support Smart Infrastructure from top to bottom
Integrated flood control system Pipe leakages detection Reduction in Non-Revenue Water Source augmentation system Water conservation planning
Data sharing and collaboration Stakeholder management Big-data service for central\ Consumer participation and understanding needs
With the concepts of smart cities, it can be understood that there is a need to have smart integrated urban water system or infrastructure for the management of storm water, water supply, waste water, groundwater and floods. This raise a question for us provide good environment, infrastructure & technology and policies to solve water management issue using smart technology and innovative ideas and methods.
Try it freeCity officials have a lot of responsibilities:
Managing urban water has always been a complex task where the Urban local bodies are working consecutively on catering the existing water demand, maintaining the infrastructure
and planning for future requirements and very little space in the room is left for focusing on achieving sustainability in this water management cycle.
While the cities are giving their best in managing the existing water supply
system, officials are left with very little opportunities to explore the possible improvement of urban water management and aiming to achieve sustainability in the process
As managing urban water efficiently is becoming the priority of the managing bodies, the current pace is not sufficient to achieve the sustainability in the urban water management. Along with robust infrastructure, engagement of
various stakeholder covering citizens, industries, interlinkages between water management bodies and ULB’s is critically important considering rapid growth in urban areas.
Our AI/ML based digital solutions works for real-time smart urban water management by providing solutions based on data base consisting effective actions in terms of policy/ project/ recommendations etc. from global best
practices around the cities throughout the world and is then linked to the existing or proposed digital infrastructure resulting in effective and integrated urban water management.
The solution follow ‘GLOCAL’ approach engaging global to local with the focus on inclusion of global best and suitable practices in the field of water service chain and while acknowledging them, work on developing unique local level solutions which can be in the form of digital and/or physical project plan, policy and regulations advisory.
Our networkWD- systems are built for maximizing our focus on digital analysis replicating and providing even better results than on ground process, e.g. site surveying with WD MAP. This minimizes the physical presence of various stakeholders along with possibilities to involve best related experts around the world making the process of project development more precise and efficient along with huge time saving. Considering the current global pandemic ‘COVID-19’, this system tends to show an effective result without compromising safety and well-being of people.
More about solutionThe project will establish new and easily understandable linkages with private sectors that will motivate them to involve with / collaborate with the project through various means, corporate social responsibilities as an example can be easily attracted. Hence, providing sufficient finance to the urban local bodies for implementing the projects identified in the system. As per the market estimates around 10% of the overall project financing could be catalysed with the private sector engagement.
Why WaterDrop is important?
With the concepts of smart cities, it can be understood that there is a need to have smart integrated urban water system or infrastructure for the management of storm water, water
supply, waste water, groundwater and floods. This raise a question for us provide good environment, infrastructure & technology and policies to solve water management issue using smart technology and innovative ideas and methods.
Why this is the right time for such solution?
Our solution is real-time spatial analysis solution to provide quick and future planning approch and gives information like predicted day zero situation and it can play an important role in helping to mitigate those situations,
efficiently.
